BEHIND THE SCENES WITH NEW EPIC SHOW "CAMELOT". JANUARY JONES SAYS WHITE QUEEN WILL BE HOT IN "X-MEN:FIRST CLASS". COOL TRAILER FOR "BEING HUMAN" 3RD SEASON!

The first official featurette for one of this year's most anticipated historical shows CAMELOT is here. Premiering this April on Starz, the exciting new show will bring an action packed version of the famous Arthurian legend with Joseph Fiennes as Merlin,
Claire Forlani as Queen Igraine, Eva Green as Morgana, young Jamie Campbell Bower as King Arthur and Tamsin Egerton as Guinevere, with James Purefoy guest starring as King Lot. Check out the interesting behind the scenes look on the show with exclusive scenes and interviews with the lead actors.

If you are anxious to see the costume that January Jones will wear as curvaceous Emma Frost aka White Queen in the 2011 superhero flick X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, which will describe the youth of our dear mutants,
you don't need to worry anymore. Speaking to "MovieWeb" January reassured us that the costumes will be "insane" and that they involve "a lot of very body-conscious stuff". She also revealed that she didn't have to "do all the crazy prosthetics" because White Queen's morphing into her diamond form will be CGI. As you know January joins James McAvoy (Professor Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Kevin Bacon ...and a bunch of young Hollywood actors in the new installment of the mutant saga.

And today you can also watch another great video at HOLLYWOOD SPY - a stunning trailer for the exciting third season of the amazing and popular British series BEING HUMAN which will be aired on BBC later this winter.  The popular show, which also got its US version to be aired on SyFy this January (which probably won't have the authentic and charming spirit of the original British series), follows the adventures of three unlikely roomates - a kind vampire, a goofy werewolf and a timid ghost, starring Aidan Turner (who will appear in Peter Jackson's THE HOBBIT), adorable Russell Tovey and super lovely Leonora Crichlow.

RICHARD ARMITAGE BEATS RUPERT PENRY JONES AND GERARD BUTLER IN HOLLYWOOD SPY'S "WHO SHOULD BE THE NEXT JAMES BOND" POLL!

HOLLYWOOD SPY's WHO SHOULD BE THE NEW JAMES BOND poll is over and I must thank you for voting in hundreds and hundreds. The winner is charming Richard Armitage who won stunning 61% of your votes (almost 300 in total). Rupert
Penry Jones
also had an amazing support with 14% leaving Gerard Butler in the third place with 10% of your votes.

Well, our winner Richard Armitage really has all that it takes to be a great James Bond - he is charismatic in a very cool and refined way, his presence is kinda magnetic, he has one of the strongest fan support among ladies I've ever seen (remember the 2,000 votes those lovely ladies had left at HOLLYWOOD SPY when he competed in one of our previous polls?) and we know girls love Bond and Bond loves girls :) If he doesn't get the role of agent 007 himself he would also fit the role of James Bond's nemesis nicely, since he already proved he can play a great villain in ROBIN HOOD TV series which made him popular. British people also know Armitage from NORTH AND SOUTH and SPOOKS. In the future we will be watching him in two big blockbusters CAPTAIN AMERICA THE FIRST AVENGER and THE HOBBIT!

I must admit I always love when you show some love for Rupert Penry Jones, whom I love dearly as well. Just like Richard Armitage he was previously voted BEST BRITISH GENTLEMAN in one of HOLLYWOOD SPY's polls, and just like Armitage Rupert also acted in SPOOKS. He is also charming and magnetic like Armitage, but unlike him Rupert's charisma is more warm and kind, which would make him an appealing and lovable James Bond, and plus he is smokin' hot in tuxes and suits :) You've seen Penry Jones in films such as FOUR FEATHERS, MATCH POINT and CHARLOTTE GRAY with Cate Blanchett.

Now, our favourite Scottish hunk Gerard Butler, or as we like to call him Gerry Berry, took third place, but that's OK since he said before that he likes to be versatile in acting and thus he wouldn't like to get typecast as James Bond.  But he WOULD make a real fine 007 bringing back the roughness and raw charms of Sean Connery's Bond with a touch of his own humour, sexual appeal and wittiness. He also won THE BEST BRITISH GENT poll before at HOLLYWOOD SPY and even if he never gets the Bond role we will be seeing him in BURNS, CORIOLANUS, MACHINE GUN PREACHER...

Now, shall we move to the second round of WHO SHOULD BE THE NEXT JAMES BOND poll? A bunch of stunningly handsome and profoundly charismatic actors are waiting for you to give them your votes in next two weeks. Who shall it be: refined and naughty Jude Law, quiet and rugged Sam Worthington, profound and breathtaking good guy Henry Cavill, reserved and authoritative Damien Lewis, dashing and noble Ioan Gruffudd, zombie sheriff whom we trust Andrew Lincoln,  young and upcoming Luke Evans or shall we have a super hot Australian Bond Alex O' Loughlin?

SHANIA TWAIN GETS MARRIED IN A STRANGE TWIST OF FATE! JODIE FOSTER IN NEW SF EPIC "ELYSIUM"? JAMES FRANCO TO DIRECT "AS I LAY DYING" & "BLOOD MERIDIAN"

Now I know this isn't connected with movies, but you will forgive me since I love Shania Twain so much: she just got married to Frédéric Thiébaud  in Puerto Rico on New Year's Day (see the lovely pic here). The interesting fact is that Shania's ex husband had been previously cheating on her with Frédéric's ex wife. After the affair between their ex spouses, Shania and Frédéric have obviously found a solace in each other. Life writes the best of romances and twists, doesn't it? I hope Shania will give us a new album soon as well. She had the most amazing pop hits (GONNA GETCHA GOOD, THANK YOU BABY, KA CHING, STILL THE ONE, THAT DON'T IMPRESS ME MUCH ...) and stunning videos!

Earlier last year I've informed you that director Neill Blomkamp (DISTRICT 9) is preparing a new sci-fi film ELYSIUM  which will take place on a distant planet in the future and, like DISTRICT 9, will feature social and political themes embedded in a sci-fi action movie setting. According to new rumors, beside Sharlto Copley, who already worked with Blomkamp in DISTRICT 9, and Matt Damon, the rather boring cast might also include Jodie Foster. Colour me sleepy :)

It's seems that James Franco is trying to use and abuse his five minutes under the spotlight, so beside starring in one too many of the upcoming films, and
hosting this year's Oscars (and possibly getting one), he will also become a director. The two possible projects to have him behind the helm are AS I LAY DYING, the film adaptation of William Faulkner's complex novel which follows the members of a family who must take the body of their mother to the town where she wanted to be buried, and there's also BLOOD MERIDIAN, also an adaptation of a novel which follows American mercenaries in the 1850's hunting Indians in the Mexican borderland.

NEW PICTURES FROM "THE THREE MUSKETEERS" WITH ORLANDO BLOOM, MILLA JOVOVICH, LUKE EVANS, RAY STEVENSON, MATTHEW MACFADYEN AND CHRISTOPH WALTZ

Another film that we might or might not have needed is THE THREE MUSKETEERS, the new adaptation of the famous Alexandre Dumas' story directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (RESIDENT EVIL). Coming out next Autumn, October 2010, the new version of the old story will have a star studded cast and
will follow the hot-headed young D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman from PERCY JACKSON THE LIGHTNING THIEF) who joins forces with three rogue Musketeers. They must stop the evil Cardinal Richelieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with lord Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady de Winter
(Milla Jovovich). Ray Stevenson (ROME, THOR, PUNISHER 2) will appear as Porthos, Luke Evans (CLASH OF THE TITANS, ROBIN HOOD, IMMORTALS) as Aramis and Matthew Macfadyen (THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH, ROBIN HOOD) as Athos. Mads Mikkelsen (CLASH OF THE TITANS, VALHALLA RISING) will appear as Rochefort while young Juno Temple will play the
queen. Beside getting a state of the art update in 3-D THE THREE MUSKETEERS will be less focused on corsets and feathered hats and more on the eye-popping action, romance and adventure, which isn't really what the first pictures from the shooting tell us :) So, what do you think, are you excited about the film or not so much?

And if you're in the mood you can visit Dempsey's THE MOVIE 411 site where I'm guesthosting today with the list of my favourite actresses. Pop over and leave a comment there if you like my list :)

JAVIER BARDEM COULD BE ROLAND DESCHAIN IN STEPHEN KING'S FANTASY SAGA "THE DARK TOWER". CHARMING TEASER FOR "KUNG FU PANDA: THE KABOOM OF DOOM". FINCHER'S "20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA" WILL BE 3D

Now here's another actor who is on the list for the role of futuristic hero Roland Deschain in Ron Howard's adaptation of Stephen King's fantasy saga THE DARK TOWER: although it was said that Viggo Mortensen is director's first choice it seems Javier Bardem is now the front-runner for the huge role.
If he gets it he will play in three films and two seasons of TV show which will run in between films. This futuristic epic Western will follow a Gunslinger Roland Deschain as he travels across a desolate and vaguely post-apocalyptic landscape in his quest for a black tower.

David Fincher, who is enjoying the success of his film THE SOCIAL NETWORK, has announced that his future project, the adaptation of the famous novel 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA will be done in 3D.
However, the film won't come any time soon since he has many other projects on his list.

Although we haven't been overly amazed by the first part of the film, KUNG FU PANDA: THE KABOOM OF DOOM is about to premiere next May and here's the first teaser: Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five - Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey. But Po's new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. It is up to Po and The Furious Five to journey across China to face this threat and vanquish it. But how can Po stop a weapon that can stop kung fu? He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins - only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.
