revolve around three best friends who are invited to act as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they called "Pigface" in high school. The third best friend hasn't been cast yet, but Kirsten Dunst's character will be crisp and severe, and she is referred to as your best friend and your worst enemy, while the second friend will be played by Lizzy Caplan who will play a girl with a Playboy Bunny body and a Larry David brain. The film will also have Jason Statham to add to the muscle power.

According to today's rumors, Warner Bros' ultra expensive $230 million film adaptation of famous manga AKIRA is about to get Keanu Reeves in the lead role of Kaneda. This is quite surprising
since many young actors (Keanu is almost 50) were in the run including Justin Timberlake, Michael Fassbender, Chris Pine .... but it seems the studio wants a world wide name for the risky project. The futuristic tale, set in post-nuclear war Manhattan in 2019 where a biker gang member tries to save his best friend Tetsuo who is subjected to a government experiment which unleashes his latent powers, might have James McAvoy or Robert Pattinson in the Tetsuo role. According to rumors, Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling had turned down the Kaneda role previously.

Ah, that darn Bradley Cooper, he seems to be mentioned in every other big role and never seems to get any of them. In the latest gossip, he might take the lead role in the huge movie
adaptation of famous PARADISE LOST 17th century epic poem by John Milton. And he might play Lucifer himself. To be directed by Alex Proyas, the film will describe the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer, including the latter's role in Adam and Eve's fall from grace. The expensive movie will also have huge scenes of aerial warfare and all of that is going to be filmed in 3D. As you remember Bradley has been mentioned lately as possible lead actor in THE CROW remake too.

He will be magnificent! Tarsem is a genius. *Wes Bentley is the new addition to the HUNGER GAMES cast. He will play the Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane! *Brendan Fraser and Vanessa Hudgens will star in GIMME SHELTER, an indie drama about a pregnant, homeless teen (Hudgens), who flees her abusive mother and seeks out her biological father (Fraser) who fathered her as a result of a fleeting moment of passion and intimacy. He takes her in at first, but then throws her out of the house when she refuses to get an abortion.

I mean we've already got excited when we all heard that Michelle Williams and Blake Lively could join Mila Kunis as the good witches in OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL which will trace the origin of the famous wizard to be played by James Franco, but guess who could join them as well? Believe it or not, our dear Rachel Weisz is in talks to join Sam Raimi's epic adventure as Evanorah, the Wicked Witch of the East who is also the older sister of Theodorah, the Wicked Witch of the West to be played by Mila Kunis. Color me super excited.
You already know that famous 80's classic THE FANTASTIC VOYAGE will get a remake, and according to latest rumors Hugh Jackman is wanted in the role of one of the scientists who shrink themselves into a microscopic ship and get injected into the bloodstream of a sick colleague in order to save his life. It is interesting that this fantasy adventure will be directed by Shawn Levy who is already helming REaL STEEL, another Hugh Jackman film, an upcoming summer blockbuster about a futuristic world in which huge robots fight in boxing rings instead of humans, and Hugh plays one of the coaches. Young Saoirse Ronan, who is getting more and more popular, has just taken the lead role in THE HOST, a film adaptation of
Stephanie Meyer's fantasy novel which she wrote after TWILIGHT saga. According to "MovieWeb" Ronan will play Melanie Snyder, one of the remaining few humans left on Earth after an attack by parasitic aliens called Souls. This alien species can enter a human and essentially erase their personality from within. When Melanie is invaded by a Soul named Wanderer, he finds she won't surrender and starts to connect with her past life. The film will be directed by talented Andrew Niccol who made the cult sf classic GATTACA and who has just finished shooting sf film NOW with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried.

The film centers on a young college professor, Gavin, who stands on the ledge of a high-rise building and seems determined to take his own life. Enter a detective, Hollis, who has been sent to talk the jumper out of it, but discovers that Gavin has to jump off the building before noon that day. But we soon learn that Hollis has just suffered his own life shattering experience, and in the end, it's Gavin who has to convince the policeman that his own life is worth living.
According to "Playlist" one of our favourite new actors Luke Evans will join Nicolas Winding Refn's new project ONLY GOD FORGIVES. Before Refn remakes famous sf classic LOGAN'S RUN he will do
this story about a Thai police lieutenant whose rivalry with a gangster sees the two settling their differences in a Thai boxing match. Luke Evans will probably play the gangster, and according to rumors, Kristin Scott Thomas should also join the cast. Charming Brit Luke Evans will be quite busy in the future: beside the role of powerful Zeus in Tarsem's huge epic IMMORTALS this November, we shall watch him as Aramis in THE THREE MUSKETEERS, and beside John Cusack in THE RAVEN, period film on Edgar Allan Poe.

Hoping to stay one foot ahead of his captors, Cobra teams up with another bounty hunter named Jane who is searching for her sisters in order to decode a treasure map that has been tattooed onto their backs. Together, Cobra and Jane hope to secure a lost treasure hidden somewhere on Mars. Alexandre Aja wants to make a space opera adventure franchise for a new generation with this project.
You already know how I love me some epics! A few years ago I reported about an epic based on Hercules, and it seems it is moving on now: Brett Ratner should adapt comic book HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS for MGM about the powerful son of
the god king Zeus, for which he received nothing but suffering his entire life. After twelve arduous labors and the loss of his family, this dark, world-weary soul turns his back on the gods finding his only solace in bloody battle. Over the years he warms to the company of six similar souls, their only bond being their love of fighting and presence of death. These men and a woman never question where they go to fight or why or whom, just how much they will be paid. When the King of Thrace hires these mercenaries to train his men to become the greatest army of all time it is time for these lost souls to finally have their eyes opened to how far they have fallen when they must train an army to become as ruthless and blood thirsty as their reputation has become.

casting some new people for the roles in the mammoth production of THE HOBBIT, to add them to the long list of many actors who already played in LORD OF THE RINGS. The latest name to appear on the list, the news which Jackson announced yesterday at Facebook, is Lee Pace, whom we love heaps, and who will take the role of the Elven King Thranduil. You already know that HOLLYWOOD SPY adored Lee Pace in Tarsem's stunning fantasy film THE FALL, and Peter Jackson admits that he fell in love with Lee's acting in that film as well and that he saw him as Elven king immediately. I'm overly happy! :)
