Ah, here she is again. Anne Hathaway might join James McAvoy in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES according to "MovieWeb". Anne would play Elizabeth Bennett and McAvoy would be Mister Darcy :) As you know, the film will be based on the book by Seth Grahame Smith who wrote a new version of  Jane Austen's famous classic, pitting Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy against the living dead in the mix of romance, horror and comedy.

Here's an interesting project with not so interesting cast: Josh Hartnett will star in SINGULARITY,  an epic drama set between the years 1778 and 2015, and he will play two characters, a present-day archeologist who slips into a coma and a British captain stationed in colonial India. Neve Campbell will play his modern-day wife, and also an archeologist who is trapped in a sunken ship while trying to retrieve a ring. The project is said to revolve around the ring and the intertwining souls who are connected to it.

Colin Firth, who is currently enjoying critical acclaim for his role in THE KING'S SPEECH, is going action in the future. He will star in GAMBIT playing a cat burglar who is trying to steal a millionaire's statue. He brings on a waitress, who bears a striking resemblance to the millionaire's dead wife, to help pull off the caper. The film will be a remake of the 60's film with Michael Caine and Shirley McLaine.

HOLLYWOOD SPY has informed you before that both Relativity Media and Universal are preparing their own SNOW WHITE projects.

It seems they have both found their Evil Queens. Visual genius Tarsem Singh who is directing THE BROTHERS GRIMM: SNOW WHITE, which will stick more closely to the fairy tale, apparently wants Julia Roberts as the evil stepmother. On the other side, Universal wants Charlize Theron in their SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN in which the Huntsman, sent by the Evil Queen to kill Snow White, decides not to do it and becomes her mentor, as they train to get revenge on the Queen.

Ah, so the first trailer for next year's adventure PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES is here and it features mermaids, zombies and lots, lots of Captain Jack Sparrow, since it has become a two/three hour private show of Johnny Depp.

In this action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
Directed by Rob Marshall the film also features two stunning young creatures Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Sam Claflin.

Heather Morris is currently the favourite choice at Warner Bross. With her talent for comedy and dancing, she is apparently the front runner up for the role.

Beside BUFFY, another teenage project has found its possible heroine. The film adaptation of the famous THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS fantasy saga by Cassandra Clare will have young Lily Collins (THE BLIND SIDE, THE PRIEST) as the main star. The film will follow a girl who discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of warriors dedicated to driving demons out of our world. When her mother disappears, she must join a daring group of young Shadowhunters on an adventure, which leads her through a city filled with mischievous fairies, eccentric warlocks, werewolf gangs and other strange creatures.

Next year's Roman epic THE EAGLE has just got a stunning new poster: starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Donald Sutherland and Mark Strong this epic follows a master and his slave who are trying to solve the mystery of the famous Ninth Legion which had disappeared in Britannia along with their treasured golden Eagle emblem. The two of them set out into

the vast and dangerous highlands of Scotland to confront its savage tribes and retrieve the hallowed Eagle. Along the way they will discover some personal secrets as well and will come face-to-face with the warriors of the fearsome Seal Prince (played by Tahar Rahim). The cast of next year's romantic comedy NEW YEAR'S EVE is really becoming more and more starstudded. Jessica Biel has just joined the ensemble which already includes Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Abigail Breslin ... Set in New York the film will follow intertwining stories of characters trying to navigate their way through romance on New Year's Eve.

Dreamworks is preparing something interesting for 2013: ME AND MY SHADOW will be a 3D film with the groundbreaking combination of both CG and traditional animation techniques. It will tell the story of Shadow Stan, an extremely frustrated shadow who yearns for a dynamic life but happens to be stuck with Stanley Grubb, the world's most boring human.

Finally pushed to the brink, Shadow Stan breaks the singular rule of the Shadow World ("They lead, we follow"), and takes control of Stanley!

It seems Anne Hathaway is the only actress we hear about these days. She will join Bradley Cooper in THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK which centers on a former high school teacher who was institutionalized for depression and is then released into the care of his mother. He tries to win back his ex-wife but becomes involved with a bizarre neighbor who also has a history of mental problems.

Another trailer comes from the super charming animated film ARTHUR CHRISTMAS with a breathtaking voice cast: James McAvoy will give voice to Arthur, the good-natured but clumsy younger son of Santa Claus

who seems to be the only member of the family still enamored with the magic of Christmas. Hugh Laurie will play Arthur's older brother Steve, heir to the reins, a cool, incredibly capable guy who has given the North Pole high-tech efficiency, military-style precision. Jim Broadbent plays the big man in red himself who finds himself taking a backseat to the major operation that preparing for Christmas has become. Bill Nighy will voice the 136-year old Grandsanta, a cranky old codger who hates the modern world and liked Christmas better back in the day. Imelda Staunton will be Mrs. Santa and Ashley Jensen will play Bryony, a lowly elf from the Giftwrap Battalion, with an eager-to-please attitude and an obsession with wrapping and bows. The film is out November 2011.

ANNE HATHAWAY IS THE NEW "BARBARELLA"! TAYLOR LAUTNER GOES STEAMPUNK IN "INCARCERON". FIRST OFFICIAL "THOR" POSTER AND TRAILER!

The film adaptation of the 2007 steampunk adventure bestseller written by Catherine Fisher, INCARCERON, which I mentioned a few times before, has got its lead star. Taylor Lautner will play Finn, a young lifelong resident of Incarceron, a fully self-contained prison society. He meets the daughter of the Incarceron warden, who is housed in her own prison which resembles the 17th Century. When they find a mysterious key, and learn about the only man to ever escape the prison, they hatch their own plan to escape.

I love the girl, but I'm not sure where does this sudden hype around her come from? According to fresh rumors Anne Hathaway has been signed by Universal to be the new BARBARELLA. As you know the remake will follow a female mercenary who roams across the universe in a distant future, undertaking missions that require her physical fearlessness, ingenuity and sensuality. The role was previously reserved for Drew Barrymore.

Now this is amazing. First of my three favourite characters from LORD OF THE RINGS, Galadriel, has been added to THE HOBBIT cast earlier this week, and now there are rumors that the second one will join them

as well: according to "Deadline" Orlando Bloom is in talks to return to the Middle Earth as the Elven archer Legolas! Now, wouldn't that be just amazing! Apparently he is about to sign the deal with Peter Jackson!

Universal is moving on with their 47 RONIN action adventure to be shot in 3D. But if you thought the tittle was strange, the lead actor is even more strange given the plot of the film: Keanu Reeves is the star of the story about a group of 18th Century samurai swordsmen who band

together and seek out those responsible for the murder of their master. I can't possibly imagine Keanu's horrible accent in this one!

And here's the amazing first trailer for Hugh Jackman's robot action REAL STEEL which is coming out October 2011 and is set in the near-future, where the sport of boxing has gone hi-tech. Hugh Jackman is Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring.
